n Performed duties necessary to accomplish Information Assurance,
Information Security, OPSEC functions in support of programs essential to
Air Force AFMC operations and training
n Managed the Information Assurance (IA) Program. Developed and
implemented HQ AFMC/IP Supplement and procedures to ensure information was
protected in accordance with Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) and
Air Force standards and policy.
n Effectively stood up Information Protection directorate managing computer
assets, acquired and managed annual budget of $25,000
n Analyzed HQ AFMC policy and procedures and all of AFMC bases process
and procedures relating to OPSEC, MILDEC and Computer Security (Information
Security). Evaluated the security posture against security
requirements and security controls.
n Directed 10 MILDEC officers; postured to support COCOM classified
operations/exercises; key to Afghan/Iraq
n Deployed and implemented CASPER for HQ AFMC bases.
n Supported 90 GOs/SES; AF/CVAS benchmarked AFMC escort operations;
best program in the Air Force; zero glitches during AF 4-day biggest

n Mastered 2-week Signature Management Course; introduced new OPSEC
concepts to Command; Zero Violations. Top Graduate of Operational Military

n Aced Enterprise Information training Management; led IP being best
EIM HQs site in June 2009, Second Directorate in HQs to deploy EIM
n Developed first ever office collaboration site; enabled personnel
across AF to share vital security information
n Responsible for facilitating and coordinating with other agencies,
to include COMM, FOIA, Privacy Act, STINFO, Program Protection, INTEL, and
SAP SAR to prevent the disclosure of classified information or critical
unclassified sensitive information.
n Conducted Staff Assistance Visit (SAVs) and responsible for three
bases receiving excellent rating on Military Deception (MILDEC) IG
Inspections
n Managed Information Security (InfoSec) Program while appointed as
unit Security Manager. Trained unit personnel on proper handling,
storage, transportation, marking and destruction of classified
material. Applied personnel security standards to ensure personnel
maintained a proper security clearance prior to being granted access to
classified information.
n Implemented new policies to ensure strict adherence to Operations
Security (OPSEC) standards while serving as OPSEC Program Manager.
n Provided on-going technical training and instruction for all
security related programs to over 11 AFMC base personnel, including IA,
InfoSec, and OPSEC and MILDEC.
